Our favorite high tech Linux geek candidate for governor of California, Georgy Russell actually got a serious write-up in the BBC News online. Of course, they left out a link to her website, although they did mention her blog.
It's nice to see people other than the rich celebs or career politicians getting press coverage. What's worst is that that doofus Schwartznegger will probably win, and he is clueless, thus likely to be just a puppet for the national Repuglican party apparatus. Then California will be truly screwed.
Argh, I finally added a category for politics. I hold forth too often on political issues, especially when they pertain to privacy, liberty, and technology.
