OK, I'll admit it. I've actually done "help desk" tech support - for a short time only. I've also done a little tier 2 support. So when I read The Chronicles of George, I got a chuckle.
I swear, this guy is almost ubiquitous in tech support. Clueless, lazy, and illiterate - anyone else gets bounced out of support for knowing too much (or driven to blind rage by the attitudes of the arrogantly clueless).
OTOH, I'd even try tech support for a little while again, if it meant money coming in.... Hire Me, Please!!
